Worth upgrading from a Bianca V3 + Niche Zero, or just refining workflow? [$3500]

Hey everyone,

I’ve been running a pretty solid home setup for a while now:

Machine: Lelit Bianca V3

Grinder: Niche Zero

Bottomless portafilter, decent scale, WDT, etc.

Overall I’m getting very good results—sweet, balanced shots are fairly consistent once dialed in. But I’m starting to wonder if I’m basically at the point of diminishing returns.

If I were to upgrade, I’m not sure what would actually translate into better coffee in the cup vs just nicer features:

higher-end machine with more control (Decent / ECM / Slayer-type tier)

switching to flats (P64 / high-end DF64-style grinders)

or just accepting that improvements from here are mostly beans + consistency + technique

For those who’ve moved beyond this level—what actually made a noticeable difference in the cup, and what ended up being mostly workflow or feature changes?
