Would it be easier to put toddler in daycare now while pregnant or once sibling is born?

I’m really struggling with this decision and would like some input, ideas and recommendations for things I could be missing.

I work from home and have a part-time nanny for 4 hours each morning, and my job is flexible enough that I can usually finish most of my work then and just answer an occasional email later in the day.

I just found out I’m pregnant with my second, and we were planning to start our daughter in daycare next month. But I’m worried about the constant daycare illnesses while pregnant and taking care of toddler. At the same time, if we wait until after the baby is born, we’d be exposing a newborn to those same viruses while also managing a sick toddler.
We wanted to start daycare because we think the socialization and new environment would be good for her. She’s 2 years and 5 months old. I’d also planned to use the extra time for my bachelor’s program, chores, etc. Realistically, we could keep her home and continue with the nanny, but I’m also worried about balancing a newborn, lack of sleep, work, and a toddler.
