Nori is a FOSS bookmark manager.

I'm reposting this. My last post was removed because it said I didn't include the licence. I'm putting the license at the top instead of the bottom this time in case that makes a difference.

I'm not associated with this app. I just found it on the developer's GitHub when looking at their other apps.

I don't think Nori is on F-Droid yet, but it's made by the same people who made the FOSS apps Nora and NouTube, both of which are on F-Droid. I use Obtainium to download the GitHub release here:

It's very similar to the FOSS Nora social media app. There is a bookmark sync feature that can be enabled, which I haven't tried yet.

A main feature is the ability to import your exported browser bookmarks into the app.

I think this might be the best FOSS bookmark manager I've seen so far, so I thought others might appreciate it.

It recently got its first F-Droid update in about 3 years. Is anybody using it?

From my understanding, it is a fork of FairEmail, but I can't really tell if it has kept up with any FairEmail code since the original fork many years ago.

I already use FairEmail, but the idea of a simpler email app is really appealing to me. I'm not a huge fan of Thunderbird.

Is there any reason not to trust this app in general, or specifically any reason I shouldn't enter my login credentials to test the app?

Any other thoughts about it?
