Suspended on eBay/Case Open with Klarna

Hey guys!

I'll try to keep this short lol. Basically, I purchased a pair of sneakers on ebay using Klarna and once I received them I tried them on and determined they didn't fit right so I requested a return with the seller.

The seller offered a few options, one being refunding me $12 lol which is nothing since these were over $120. I opted to send them back, received a label from the seller, packaged them up, and mailed them at USPS.

Fast forward to the seller receiving the shoes, they sent me a message claiming that the shoes were a size 7 and the box says 7.5. I was dumbfounded. First of all I normally wear a 7.5 and these were actually too large on me. Second, I don't own another pair of these shoes so I have no physical way of putting a "wrong size" back in the box.

The seller just didn't want to process the refund so they made up a bogus story, sent it to ebay customer service, and without even allowing me a chance to explain myself, my $@%$& ebay account is now suspended. I can't do a thing and every ebay rep I talk to treats me like dirt and a criminal because I'm "suspended".

Since I literally am dirt now to ebay I called up Klarna to dispute the charge.

Klarna was super helpful and paused any payments from coming out while the case is open.

My question: Right now they're (Klarna) waiting to hear back from ebay about the return. Since ebay thinks I'm a low down dirty criminal, I have a feeling they're not going to be supportive and will not willingly report the return to Klarna.

What do you guys think? Should I wait for the outcome and see what happens? It's literally my word against the seller's at this point.

I have proof that the shoes were returned to the seller (screenshots showing delivery and I have the tracking number).

Will Klarna side with me and help me so that I don't have to pay this dirtbag seller? I don't owe them a cent; they have their shoes back.
