Shortage of Days for Reckonable Residence
Brief : Am I eligible for citizenship in 2028 and what all solutions are there for me.
Hello All,
I came here in Ireland for a better life in 2021 and was employed from March 2023 and have successfully completed and transitioned to stamp 4 on 2025 January.
However I fell quite ill in month of March and had to rush to India where I stayed for approx ~106 days in a stretch and another 21 days in September for follow up.
Reason: Multi Drug Resistance Tuberculosis and I had a major surgery to remove excess tissue from my lungs.
Documentation : 2kg of reports, xrays, CT-Scan, 3 minor invasive events and one major surgery.
2023 March 2024 Feb - 63 Days
2024 March 2025 Feb - 64 Days
2025 March 2026 Feb - 106 days + 21 days
2026 March - 2027 Feb - 50 Days approx
2027 March - 2028 March - 50 Days approx
Can you help me if I would be considered as an exception case or if I could only cover the 130 days and apply by end of the year 2028.
