tactical flashlight
I believe the perpetrator did indeed have a tactical flashlight. I think this could explain why Bethany may have heard or seen what she thought was a firecracker. It’s possible the flashlight was dropped outside of her door during the chaos. My dad had a very heavy flashlight when I was a kid, and I remember dropping it once — it made an extremely loud noise, and the glass even cracked, causing the light to spark.
In this case, maybe the flashlight didn’t break, but if Bethany saw a bright light suddenly hit the floor outside her door, combined with the loud impact sound, it could have caused confusion in the moment.
I also think the flashlight may have been used as a weapon against Kaylee’s face. I recently heard claims that there may have been multiple weapons used, with some still unknown or not fully theorized, and a heavy tactical flashlight could fit into that possibility.
any thoughts on this or theories? this may have been a little pointless but i want to make a bigger post with some of my own theories soon.
