Probably Smut Disappointment
So I saved someone a skip for their Probably Smut Devney Perry box (both books). I took a massive loss on this trade in terms of value because I love these books and was so excited for a special edition of them.
For reference, I traded my Books for Days Crate Court of Ravens, which goes for anywhere between $150-$200.
But it wasn’t about the value for me, it was the love of the books.
Well, I got the books today and was so sad. I have certain expectations when someone says “special edition), so to get books with no sprayed edges and it even endpapers was just kinda crushing.
Is this how all Probably Smut books are? Am I crazy to assume these special editions have sprayed edges and end papers as a standard? I’m especially sad because I think the cover design is STUNNING. I like it so much better than what FairyLoot just announced. But since it’s a naked hardcover, I can’t even take the dust jacket off and put it on a different version.
