I had a prior root canal for a broken tooth 15 years ago. I had X-rays done a year ago and X-rays done yesterday showed this dark spot in between my teeth. Would a root canal fix this? I have an appointment with an endodontist in a few hours and I’m terrified. I don’t smoke or drink. I didn’t think I had sensitivity on the non crowned tooth until the dentist sprayed a cotton piece with something and put it on my tooth.
