Hi all,

I'm not at this stage yet, but super curious.

If you've had a fistulotomy and setons placed, then a successful repair, do you experience any residual pain after everything has healed?

It's been 8 years of abscesses, I&D, EUAs, and finally a diagnosis of 2 complex fistulas, with 2 setons currently in and a counter Seton that was removed last week, and hopefully the repair later this year. I've been living with pain/discomfort in that spot for so long that I don't know what it feels like to be pain free.

If you had everything repaired, are you pain free in that area? Or does it still linger?
