Future Deck Cadet here. What should I know before my interview?

I have an upcoming Deck Cadet interview and I want to be as prepared as possible.

What questions were you asked during your cadet interview?

What navigation, COLREGs, cargo, safety, bridge watchkeeping, or seamanship topics should I revise?

Also, what mistakes do candidates usually make during these interviews?
