Need Career Guidance
Pleaseee, i am lost and need your guidance...
I am a 2025 CSE Graduate from a tier 67 college and after around 10 interview rejections in 6 months and dodging the 3lpa job with 3 years bond.
I finally got a job in my hometown(Tier 2) that pays me 15k/month its been 4 months working here. But, it sucks working under non-tech ppl and honestly i never thought i would end up like this. The work is mostly low level automation and writing simple google scripts.
All of my years during education i was good at studies. I scored around 90%+ in both SSLC & PUC. I also got a 8.8 CGPA during my university. But, somehow things didn't work. I got a single interview opportunity in my final year but couldn't get the job.
Currently, i have 3 options:
- Leave the job & Prepare for GATE ( I appeared this year and got 25, i know it's too low but i wasn't prepared)
- Prepare for GATE while being in job
- Switch Jobs (I don't know what exactly to work on. i don't like full stack anymore due to the new AI tools everyday. i may focus on Agentic AI and AI automation stuffs but don't feel safe choosing them as they are too volatile for the job market and the applications sent feels like they are being sent into the void. )

And honestly i lost someone in the family for cancer so the last 4 months was brutal for me. I am just looking to make my life better and it's just hard seeing your father work, even though i am a grown up.
