Worth it? King of Beach Mikasa vs Miramar
Hello everyone, yesterday my newer Mikasa KOB volleyball was popped so I went to Amazon to order it again as I had done a year ago for a total of $34 USD after taxes and fees. Come to find out, King of Beach balls are now made with Miramar branding or tech? Regardless, I’m devastated to see that the same ball I had enjoyed for $34 is now $70 before taxes.
For those of you with the Miramar KOB balls who’ve used the Mikasa versions before. Is it worth the 2x in price compared to the Mikasa or should I just look elsewhere.
I play mainly on grass with my Wilson AVP OPTX and my older Mikasa KOB, and found that the KOB was a nice alternative for play on asphalt as the durability was great.
Mainly looking for a replacement that checked all the boxes the Mikasa did.
Durable on asphalt, relatively cheap, good handling and feel.
