I'm planning a trip to Almaty soon and I'm interested in joining a tour to Middle Kolsay Lake (or the Kolsay Lakes area).

I'd love to hear from anyone who has recently taken a tour from Almaty:

• Which tour company did you use?
• How was the overall experience?
• Was the transportation comfortable? (I'll be traveling with my wife and teenage son.)
• How much hiking is involved to reach Middle Kolsay Lake?
• Any recommendations for reliable tour operators or websites for booking?

We're looking for a scenic and family-friendly experience rather than a challenging trek.

Why cann't find any tours cover Middle/Upper Kolsay Lake? If I want to go to Middle or Upper Kolsay lake, Do I have to go on my own? Thanks in advanced.
