City Consolidation
So I was doing some research on the way that Jacksonville is set up and how the city became consolidated in 1968.
This made me wonder, should the city still be consolidated?
Is that consolidation slowing down the development of the city today?
Another interesting thing to consider, if the city wasn’t consolidated, could it be safer, would it give locals better representation or more control over its departments ie, police/fire.
I’d love to hear some other perspectives, this city seems to be different from others I’ve seen!
