Hi everyone,

On Jan 15, 2024, I made a ₹2,000 payment to the Airtel Mitra app via Razorpay. The transaction failed, but the money was deducted.

Razorpay claims they processed the refund on the same day and gave me an RRN. However, HDFC Bank rejected my refund request, stating the amount was successfully credited to the beneficiary.

It has been nearly 2 years, and the issue is still unresolved. I am now filing a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman.

Besides my principal ₹2,000, how much compensation can I legally or reasonably demand for this massive delay and harassment?
