I want to enjoy every fight as much as I can but I CANNOT stand gogmazios
I despise this boss so much, and the fact I would have to kill him so many of times just to gamble away all my rewards is sickening. Can’t see anything while I’m hitting him because he’s so large and my camera thinks I’m trying to give a colonoscopy, and he moves so fast for no reason. 1st phase is nothing remarkable, 2nd phase is cool the first few times maybe but is just the same every time, 3rd phase is so fucking unfun I cannot stand it. Why did I spend the rest of the game figuring out my build and weapon just so I can play pick up with little slinger pods that force me to look up, while there are random ground aoes everywhere that I CANT SEE because I’m looking at this oily winged turd drip around the air? I don’t even think it’s particularly difficult (9 star at least) but it is everything I hate about other monsters into one. Huge boss so you can’t tell what it’s doing when you’re too close, sections that feel scripted and don’t allow you to use your weapon (I hate you lagiacrus, only other guy I hate) DPS check, and just so many AOES STOP.
If this was just like a one time story thing, or maybe a few times to farm parts, it would be so much more fine. Just having a spectacle fight sure. But I’m expected to farm this, then GAMBLE everything. At least I can skip lagiacrus underwater phase but gog is going to be the end of me
