my math isn't mathing
hopefully someone can help me. I haven't crocheted in over 20 years. my grandmother recently passed away and she was an avid needlepointer and I ended up with her surplus yarns. I want to make a blanket for my kind sized bed. I want to do something in a peephole Chevron pattern or something adjacent to that. i like the Chevron patterning but don't really like that density of say doing single crochet for the whole project. I would like a looser more hole-y pattern I think. now where my math not mathing comes in at is that with all the different patterns I've been looking at I can seem to find a consistent stitch count for a king size bed ( really I have a queen but I like my blankets to over hang by a lot so I can burrito myself away ). so if anyone has any pattern ideas or recommendations and can help me figure out stitch counts I would appreciate it and be forever grateful. sorry this is so long winded. I've started and pulled everything out prolly three times at this point so I'm getting frustrated and a lil disheartened. thanks!
