1Gig broadband and Netflix
I’ve just been in contact with support, as I hadn’t received anything about my Netflix offer.
So support looked through and advised that I had declined the Netflix offer, which I said I hadn’t as I wasn’t even presented with a page to accept or decline. However he was adamant that if I would like it will be chargeable. The most confusing bit was his last message before he left the chat “The Netflix standard with ads is not an add on, we do have customers who have Netflix and do not want it and they lower the price for opting out”.
I have Netflix standard with ads so that’s included right??
I did also flag that one every website including their own they are advertising these broadband deals with the Netflix standard with ads, and was even told again when the engineer came.
At no point during signing up did it jump out to say accept or decline this offer, so why would I think any differently. So I did flag this as a potential false advertising or very misleading.
Has anyone else had an issue?
