Mod Idea

This isn't really a mod I've made, it's an idea I have for a mod, it's something I've wanted to see made for forever but, unfortunately, for several reasons, I don't have the means, so I'm presenting the premise of it in hopes that maybe one you will make it a reality.

The Perfect Armor Mod

The mod would give Bedrock edition the combat update given to Java, and make Java Impaling act like Bedrock Impaling

This mod would let you put every protection enchantment type like, Protection 4, Fire Protection 4, Projectile Protection, and Blast Protection 4, all onto the same one piece of armor in order to let you become a true tanking beast as well as following the same nature in letting add every damage increasing enchantment onto every weapon, so Max Sharpness, Impaling, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods, could all go onto Swords, Tridents and Axes all at once, letting you max your damage output in every way the weapon is compatible with, meaning, naturally the density enchantment for the mace, and lunge enchantment, are exclusive to those weapons, but you could still add Impaling, Smite, and Bane of Arthropods, to those weapons as well as, those aren't weapon damage specific like Power is to the bow, what Sharpness is to the sword, whereas Smite, Impaling, and Bane of Arthropods, are universal weapon enchantment acting as gimmick enchantments, making them only do extra damage to it's respective targets.

The Perfect Armor Mod would also let you infused armor pieces that have their own ability into your standard armor pieces, like using an armor trim template to infuse a turtle shell into your netherite helmet, giving you the ten second water breathing ability of the turtle shell, adding the protection it offers to the protection the netherite helmet offers, and naturally the turtle shell infused helmet would look like a helmet with a trim template that used a turtle shell instead of a gold ingot for the trim material, this would follow with infusing netherite boots with leather boots, adding the protection of leather boots to the protection of the netherite boots, and letting you stand on powdered snow and sink into it without freezing, and infusing you netherite leggings with golden leggings would add the protection of the golden leggings to the protection of the netherite leggings, and add the ability of golden armor making piglins be passive to you unless you actively trigger them.

The breastplate doesn't have an infusion option, but that is simply because instead of trimming it with other armor pieces to add it's protection and ability to it's netherite counterpart, you would connect your Elytra to it to let you have to the protection of you or breastplate, whilst being able to glide and fly with your Elytra.

This mod would also give a whole new item for you to craft and add to your helmet, the item being, a visor, crafted via putting a carved pumpkin and an ingot of the material of visor you're making into an anvil, the visor gives you the ability of the carved pumpkin to look at endermen without angering them, but as this is an intentionally crafted visor intended to let you still see, it doesn't have the drawback of the carved pumpkin that is making your vision limited with the view of the face of the pumpkin, and then you put the helmet and visor into an anvil, crafting a visored helmet, which is still compatible with a turtle shell whether it has a visor or not.

Once you have crafted each individual perfected armor pieces, Visored Turtle Helmet, Elytra Plate, Gold infused netherite leggings, and Leather soled netherite boots, you can put them craft them into a suit of armor, so your full suit of armor only takes up one inventory slot, and can be put into the new armor slot made for the item, Suit of Armor,

Additionally you can craft a bundle shield, putting a shield in the center slot of a crafting table, and surrounding it with bundles in the remaining eight slots, crafting the bundle shield, which has eight inventory slots expanding your inventory, but meant to hold up to eight Totems of Undying in the shield so you can have a shield that contains Totems of Undying, granting the benefit of wielding a shield in your offhand, and the benefit of holding a Totem of Undying in your offhand at the same time, though you do still have to store a Totem of Undying in the bundle shield to do so.

This mod would also let you add fire aspect and knockback to your trident, axe, mace, and spear, it would let you add looting to your axe, and it would let you add all of the crossbow enchantments to the bow, and vice versa, as well as letting you put Infinity with Mending.

This mod would also add a few more enchantments, as well as adding the Java exclusive enchantments to Bedrock edition.

  1. Kinetic Protection, going up to four like feather falling, acting as feather falling but for the helmet, decreasing the damage of Elytra wall collisions so you can fly safer, not carelessly, but still safer.

  2. Effect Negation, an enchantment for the shield, that stops splash potions from effecting you when you are blocking with the shield.

  3. Thick, another enchantment for the shield, going up to a fourth level, scaling with the piercing enchantment, halving the damage of a shot from a piercing crossbow of equal level, and stopping it from hitting entirely should the level of the piercing enchantment of the firing crossbow be lower the level if the thick enchantment on the defending shield.

The mod would also let you select which armor pieces are visible and which aren't, whether it be the individual pieces or the Suit of Armor, and would count the Elytra separate from the breastplate. This would be added so that you can keep all of the benefits of wearing your armor while still letting you show off your Minecraft skin.

The mod would also add the item, multi-tool, which is comprised of the pickaxe, shovel, and hoe, letting you save yet another two more inventory slots by putting the three tools into one, and have the utility of all of them in one, with the reason the axe isn't put in the multi-tool being that it's seen as a weapon as well.

This mod, in order to compensate for the beast that is a player who has achieved the most perfected arsenal possible, will let new mobs spawn that scale with your progression, and that would be difficult to take down without the combined enchantments, that are mutually exclusive in Vanilla Minecraft, such as a zombie spider that spawns under water, and should you not have the combination of Smite, Impaling, and Bane of Arthropods, you won't get the full benefit of either enchantment.

My First Magic System

So when I was younger (around 8 or 9 years old) I thought up a magic system that I really liked but never really refined it into something coherent, recently it came up in conversation with my brother (2 years older) who also made one at the same time, and I thought to make into something that has defined rules and makes sense so here it is.

There are more details I wish to give but this is the base foundation. I didn't want to post something too long, so tell me what you think so far, and any pointers would be appreciated

World/Universe name: The Cosmic Symphony

Planet Name: Ihósei, derived from the Greek word for echo and the compound form for the kanji word for star and made with the planet naming method in the Japanese language

Magic System: Resonance

The universe was made when two large almost deity like masses of matter, one purely physical and one purely spiritual (might change the spiritual one, I'm not sure if I want to change it to an in universe term or not but you get the gist) that were just simply existing and drifting endlessly, touched and suddenly all of the universe came into existence, the two masses of matter started to mingle, and sort of dance around each other, never fully aligning yet, never separating either, causing two parallel realms, inherently linked to one another yet not quite in sync, the physical realm, and the realm of songs.

The world consists of the physical realm where humans and animals reside all over the planet, animals we in real life would consider magical but this is normal for them it's just nature, and areas on the planet called Veils where the line between the parallel realms is so thin that you can perform rituals to interact with the realm of songs, and the realm of songs consists of just spiritual matter and what I call Resonants, counterparts to the humans, humans and resonants are two halves of the same whole while simultaneously separate whole beings themselves, simply naturally paired to each other, when a human is born, a resonant is formed in the realm of songs, and when that human dies so does the resonant.

Humans can forge these things called Vessels, made from bridge materials, being materials gathered from veils and materials from animals like, leather, wool and the like, and are called chord wood or chord steel and so on, to perform a ritual, where you make a circle (doesn't matter how you make a circle or that it's perfect just that you make a circle, whether you draw it in the dirt or make a ring of rope or stones) place the bridge materials you gathered in the circle and sit in the circle surrounded by it all, and perform a visitation ritual allowing your respective resonant (which you would call your song, while they call their respective humans, their reflection) into the circle and to take hold of the materials and condense them in to vessel which they then reside in, finally bonding your souls together, in doing so you gain access to this world's magic, Art and develop an Affinity, which can be one of four types of affinities, a Cadence (the types of areas of magic like healing, reinforcement, spacial, or water) Affinity, an Expression Affinity, how you are able to use art, like using it in bursts really easily but struggle with sustained usage, a Concept Affinity, combining a few specific areas of art within cadences to make something like a forge themed Affinity, and a Passive Affinity, always active buffs that come with an always active hindrance, like learning how to do it easily, but struggling to apply it, your Affinity is made by your nature and nurture, who you naturally are and who you've become.

Anyone can learn any Tune (in universe term for spells and techniques performed with the usage of art) though your Affinity makes you have certain aspects of art that you are naturally immensely talented and intuitive in, and aspects that you struggle with, thus you learn tunes within your Affinity with relative ease and struggle with ones that oppose it, or methods of using art that oppose your Expression or Concept Affinity, so for example someone with the Forge Affinity would struggle to destroy things as they inherently make things, not destroy, and someone with the Burst Affinity would struggle with sustained usage of tune as they have strong initial bursts.

Vessels have two types of forms, the dormant form and active forms, the dormant form is designed upon the forging of it and there is only one dormant form, typically a pendant, a cane, or just anything convenient to carry with you everywhere, while active forms are made through meditation and development of the Harmony of your Resonance (the quality of the connection between you and your song) and are given traits (physical transformation abilities given to that form upon design) such a sword that can turn into a segmented whip sword like the one in Raya and the last dragon, vessel form are typically not a weapon however, as they are whatever the singer (wielder of a vessel) decides to make it when they design their next active form, through their resonance with their song, depending on how harmonious (strong the harmony) it is, they can call it to them like Mjolnir, and they get a passive enhancement by simply being bonded to their song, and the amount of active forms you can have depends on how harmonious your resonance is, and vessels can not separate into two forms, so a vessel form can't be dual swords or a bow and arrow, it must be one connected form, which does mean separate chain links are out of the picture but chains that are connected physically and not locked around each other but still flexible in a way you could make a chained weapon work.

Resonance is strengthened by meditation with your song and communning with it, and just sharing experiences, and performing art doesn't use up any resources like mana, instead it is very physically taxing, so the issue becomes stamina, not a lack of mana, and the more a tune does the more physically taxing it is, so it does scale with experience and the harmony of your resonance

The Use Of AI

I'm new to this whole thing, and don't have anyone I can talk to to bounce my ideas off of, so I have a question.

How do you feel about someone using AI to work on and refine their world building and magic system, taking their own original idea, and not really asking for advice but bouncing their ideas off of it, just to help organize their thoughts and refine what they're thinking of?
