Looking for the insert song used near the end of The Scarlet School Trip (International ep 985 / Japanese ep 928 – "Crimson Love Arc")!
There's a beautiful piece of music that plays near the end of the episode during an emotional scene where the culprit, Riki Agata, confronts his friends Mineto Mayama and Keiko Kurachi (an actress and a friend of Shinichi's mother Yukiko Kudo). Agata accuses them of betraying their late friend Michio Dekuri — a manga artist who wrote the original story for their university film The Fighting Red Tengu, but whose name was left out of the credits, which ultimately drove him to suicide. But then Mayama and Keiko stop him and reveal the truth: Dekuri's name was actually supposed to be in the credits all along! Everyone in the group had changed their names and rearranged the spacing so that "Michio Dekuri" would be hidden, spelled out vertically across the five cast/crew members' names — a secret tribute they thought Dekuri would discover himself, since he loved solving puzzles. Sadly, the name never appeared because the producers changed the typography without telling anyone. The music kicks in right at the moment Mineto shows Riki his phone screen — displaying the five names arranged in that seemingly messy, uneven layout that actually spells out "Michio Dekuri" when you read them vertically. It sounds like it might be a piano piece, but I'm not 100% sure. It's so moving and I've been trying to track it down forever. Does anyone know the track name or which OST it's from? Any help is appreciated! Wiki link for reference: https://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/The_Scarlet_School_Trip
