[CA] Two-year renter name not on lease
Hey everyone. I have lived in my current two-bedroom apartment in East LA since October 2023. I am not on the lease, my roommate is, and i know in CA after 2-months you’re legally considered a tenant. She is getting ready to move and i will be keeping the apartment. What issues are we going to run into here? What should i be prepared for from our landlord? Can i and a new roommate just keep paying him rent like normal? Without an updated lease? Help!
