My husband loves BMW and I don’t know anything about cars. Please help!
My husband (36M) loves BMW though I couldn’t even guess how many he’s owned (maybe ~15) let alone tell you the types. I do know that whatever model the “clown shoe” is is his favorite.
He will be going on a quick trip the weekend of Father’s Day and I’d like to surprise him by getting him a fun rental from Turo.
I had initially reserved a 2026 M3 Competition because I do know “M” is a good thing but his flight will land after the available pick up window so I cancelled the reservation. Now I’m looking at other options and don’t see any more “M”s and would really love input from other people who are as knowledgeable about cars as he is. Here are some others I’m considering (I apologize in advance if the model information is out of order):

Z4 2022 sDriveM40i (he loves a convertible- he had a Miata at one point about 10 years ago that he still brings up quite often)

Thank you all so much for the help. I truly felt like I was trying to order from a menu in a different language. The overwhelming response was in favor of the Z4 so I went ahead and reserved it. My goal is to keep it a surprise and hope he doesn’t ask questions about the rental car until the last minute. I’ll try to remember to follow up with his response once he picks it up.
