Hi everyone! I'm currently in EMT school, and looking to work for a private EMS (IFT&911) after school is over. This company is contracted with our entire county, and extremely busy. They run 12 hour shifts. Anyone have similar experiences? From what I am understanding, there is usually never time to go back to headquarters on shift. I currently have a 35l backpack now, will I be able to bring this on the bus or should I get a smaller bag? What if you need to change clothes? Basically just wanted to see if anyone worked a similar job and had any suggestions, advice, etc.
Would love to also hear what you bring on shift
