I Think I’m Shadow Banned on Facebook Marketplace — Need Help please!
Hey everyone, I’m pretty sure my Facebook Marketplace account got shadow banned and I’m trying to figure out if anyone has dealt with this before or knows how to fix it.
For the last few weeks, all of my older listings still show up normally, but any new listings I post basically become invisible. They don’t appear in Marketplace search results at all, even when searching the exact title/keywords from another account.
About 2 months ago I got a warning for accidentally listing an airsoft gun. I took the post down immediately and haven’t had any issues or warnings since then, so I’m wondering if that triggered something behind the scenes.
I’ve tried contacting Facebook support, but it’s basically impossible to get through to a real person or get an actual answer.
I don’t really use Facebook for personal posting — Marketplace is the main reason I use the platform, and I’ve been using it for years. This is honestly affecting my income at this point.
Has anyone dealt with this before?
Did it eventually fix itself, or is there anything specific that helped?
Any advice would really help.
