I’m wondering if anyone here has been able to get egg freezing covered by the government (ontario, canada) due to needing an endometrioma excision surgery?

The internet says that egg freezing should be covered by OHIP if theres a risk of fertility in the future ex. Cancer treatments or gender affirming surgery, but with endometriomsis usually not covered. I would think a medically necessary procedure on your ovary where you can potentially lose an ovary would be medically necessary?

My biggest fear with the excision surgery is having my ovarian reserve decline or potentially losing the whole ovary.

Hi everyone i have been diagnosed with IBS (since teens) but am worried it might be bowel endo.

I will be asking for a referral to see a gastroenterologist to help manage it - but would like someone who is aware of endo. Wondering if there’s any resources to find a gastroenterologist who’s also knowledgeable in endo?

Im seeing an endo gyno specialist soon. Is my best bet just to let my gyno deal with?
