I finished my Master’s with a Distinction and honestly… ChatGPT helped me a lot. Not in a “write my whole assignment for me” way, because that usually leads to weak work anyway.

I mean using it properly.

There were so many times I was stressed, confused by an assignment brief, behind on reading, and thinking “I need help before I lose my mind.” That’s where ChatGPT became useful.

I used it across both my Bachelor’s and Master’s to help me break down assignment briefs, improve critical analysis, strengthen arguments, fix weak structure, improve referencing, and check my work against the marking rubric.

The biggest difference for me was learning how to stop using it like Google and start using it like an academic assistant.

That made the responses so much better because ChatGPT actually had context instead of me asking random questions in random chats.
