I did it

After 15 months, i am done pumping. The journey was so hard in the beginnng. My supply was really low, i cant figure out pumping, my kid wont latch so i pumped while chanting fk pumping every day every 2-3 hrs for the first 7 months. I remember producing only 2 oz, having everyone questioning why am i not direct feeding my kid, the judgement of mixing with formula, the sleeeepy 1 am pump.

Then i adapted. And today at 15 months, i am done. And i am super proud of myself. Those early days of pumping were dark times for me and i did it. No one is here to celebrate me but it feels like a win for me.

Thats all ❤️

I think i screwed up and i need guidance 🆘

Hi friends. LO is almost 15 months. I think i screwed up with his eating habit 😞 I did blw when he started solids. But somehow, somewhere along the way, came sickness and teething and i started to worry about him not eating a lot and i did not know how and when it happened, suddenly we are eating (me feeding him) in front of the tv and sometimes while carrying him. The mess from blw really makes me overstimulated. I am a sahm mom and sometimes i do lunch in front of tv just because i need him to eat.

Now at 15 months he doesnt really want to eat his meal at the highchair on his own. Except for breakfast in which he feeds himself and i help him. But lunch and dinner are still a struggle to me. Please guide me on how to restart blw and reshape his eating habit. He is a happy 11kg boy. He hasnt walk or talk yet but always signing for milk/all done/water etc. Also love his milk and i am trying my best to cut down his milk intake, but he will have a meltdown if he doesnt get his milk. I just started putting him his highchair snd serve food and eat with him and let him explore and follow his cue if he is done.

I know as parents, my duty is to decide what, when and where he will eat. He will decide how much or if he wants to eat. What do you tell yourself when they dont eat? Do i just stick to what im currently doing and let him do the rest? How do i help him figure out eating?

TIA! :)

Only 9am and im about to lose my sh**

Hi all. First time posting here. LO is 14 months. Lately he has started throwing tantrums and whatnot. Mealtime is struggle for me, i always ended up hand feeding him while he plays/cruising around. Please tell me how to get him to eat by himself or at least stay still. I let him feed himself for breakfast but most of the time he just throws food out and that really pissing me off.

He is still on 2 naps and we have early morning wake starting to creep in. Might need to drop to 1 nap soon.

My questions, how do you get them to eat, how do you drop to 1 nap and how do you not lose your sh**? Please dumb it down for me.

I see many drop to 1 nap around 11-12 months. I am wondering, for those that have their LOs dropping to 1 a bit later, when do that happen? A friend of mine said her kid drop to 1 nap at 2 years old. Mine is 14 months and is still on 2 naps. How do you know its time to switch?
