Proof of English Proficiency
Hello. We are in the beginning stages of applying for the UK spousal visa. One of the requirements is that I must prove that I am proficient in the English language. I was born in the US and educated there as well. I hold 2 degrees from American universities. One is a BSc, and the other a Masters.
Having looked at the UK gov website, it says that I am exempt from this portion of the application as I am a citizen of the US. But I have found conflicting information online stating that I will have to verify my degrees through a third party in order to satisfy this requirement.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
Additional question- has anyone paid for the priority service? Is it worth the additional fee? And did it actually get processed in the time frame advertised?
