Those of you with kids, what are you planning on doing for education?
Currently have a toddler but this question is always on the back of my mind. We live in a mid size city where the public schools are some of the worst in the state and every single person we know (not exaggerating) sends their kids to private school, costing anywhere between $15,000-$30,000 a year. The only slightly-less-than-terrible public schools are all zoned for neighborhoods that have an average cost of $600,000 for a house. It’s literally a thing where people will “rent” a studio apartment in certain school districts so they can send their kids to public school there because they have a “home address” in that district.
Might homeschool at this point lmao, me and my husband both have engineering degrees at least but like wtf do you even do??? Seriously wondering
