I was working on my Jazzmaster, and the bridge thimble is rocking left and right too easily. I know it’s supposed to rock back and forth, but even with light playing it moves a lot. The neck is shimmed at the proper height, but since I got the guitar second-hand, I’m wondering if the hole in the thimble might be too wide. Does the hole size in the thimble matter? If the hole is smaller, will the bridge rock less compared to a bigger hole? thankS AGAINNN;)
