Stick to Bose or switch it up?

Hallo was hoping to get some thoughts on this,

I have a Bose soundbar 700 along with the 700 bass module subwoofer and the surround speakers, at this point 8 years old, bass has been in for one repair before but been fine since, but now the soundbar is suddenly having an issue (tried to do a factory reset after it wasn't showing up in the bose app and now just keeps going unresponsive after a minute or so after reboot) at this point am considering replacment. But I'm wondering what others might consider doing in this situation?

Guess simplest option is try and get soundbar repaired and carry on with it, suggestions welcome.

Next option which I'm leaning most towards is replacing soundbar with newer model, that still works with exisitng accesorie speakers, looking at the smart ultra, since the new "lifestyle" range isn't compatible, which I'm hoping will come with the added benefit of the price dropping once the new model actually launches.

or option 3 replace everything, have always been curious about Sonos since they always show up in the "best of" lists but this is expensive (I'd want the like for like setup so the arc ultra caught my eye) it would have to be a hell of an upgrade without costing an arm and a leg to really consider this.

So just curious what others might do in this situation?
