Hi all, I updated my Mac this morning to MacOS 26.5 and went to play some music. I was unable to search Apple Music, the only two options I had for search were Library and iTunes Store. An interesting thing to note was that my account name in the Music app lower left corner was my mac user not my iCloud account.

I was able to fix this by logging myself out of media and purchases in settings. Then restarting the computer. Then signing back into media and purchases through the Music app sign in option (lower left corner.)

Hope this helps anybody else experiencing this little bump in the road.
