It was very nearly new bike day, but sadly no.

Makes me sad that this is my second post to this group, and they've both been complaints about Brompton rather than me joining the fold.

My Electric G Line was ready at the shop yesterday. I couldn't get over straight away, so went over when they opened this morning.

Checked it over, went out for a test ride. 5 minutes in, battery turned itself off. Tried turning it on again, 5 flashing lights then it goes off again. Tried reseating the battery a couple of times, same thing kept happening.

Took it back to the shop, they put it on diagnostics. Yeah, the controller has failed, nothing they can do, it'll have to go back to Brompton.

So, I'm waiting again while it goes back to Brompton to be fixed. Who know how long that'll take.

Really hurts your confidence in a bike when this happens right out of the gate, not a lot of faith in the quality control of their electrical components.
