In the current lootbox pool there are 827 epic items. All the anniversary skins are epic, so when the lootbox pool updates, it will add 60 new options for people who didn't get the skins for the anniversary, making it much less likely that you would pull a shop highlight intro or a victory pose from the box.

I guess they can't produce normal epics that fast (I know they are trying with weapon charms though) so that would make the shop epics easily attainable for people who play regularly and this is a partial solution to that problem if they want to keep updating the lootbox pool but still keep the FOMO on.

Just an observation, I might be wrong.
