I was just reading discussion on the way banning factions works, and had the thought that it seems odd that the game doesn't allow something like a Necro vs. Necro match if neither player bans it. Is there a stated reason behind this decision anywhere? All I can think of is that the hero banning/choosing process might favor one player over the other, but that doesn't seem insurmountable; just continuing the snake draft pattern can't be that bad. Or that the creature specialists might be too strong with the debuff of opposing creatures (why is that there to begin with?)
