Likely failing minor as a graduate

This semester, I went a little overboard with classes, totaling 18 units, to compensate for the few 12-unit semesters I’ve had in the past and to graduate in four years. I’ve been extremely focused on prioritizing my non-business-related major over my marketing minor to the point where I may be “passing” my higher-division minor classes with a D; this combined with horrible scheduling, an internship, stringent classes, and coursework, of course. It’s terribly unfortunate, but I’ve come to terms with being fine with not receiving a pass for the minor (a minimum C- is required), as I intend on emphasizing my experience in my major instead. I figured I’ll pivot and receive more favorable experience elsewhere after graduation. I’ve also been coping with the fact that minors don’t show up in your diploma — only transcript — and won’t be personally necessary since I won’t be attending grad school.

I was wondering: will the credits still be honored for graduation, and will retaking the classes be necessary? Will they be treated like elective credits instead?

I’ve been pretty worried since I’d rather not have to spend the time and money for another semester here, especially for a minor I’ve recently found myself uninterested in.

Thanks in advance!
