ARE V Cap - Split Roof Rack

I’m curious if anyone with an ARE V series cap has split the Yakima roof racks between the cab and the cap to widen the load points?

The bed is short so it would be nice to have a wider positioning for longer items.

It looks like the baseline and skyline towers would be used but I’m not sure if they will be level with each other.

Looking to move a washer dryer from my 1st floor to second floor. This involves new electrical wiring, new drain in ceiling, drywall repair, new gas line from nearby water heater, exhaust duct install to previously installed roof vent. Also the old room it was in will get new drywall. All will be painted.

I’ve gotten quotes from $6k to $22k. I was curious what might be an appropriate cost?
