Gift for Mom

Hi guys, I know you get a lot of these. I’ll go straight to the point.

Mom is 71. She’s very active around the house but in terms of fitness she really only goes on walks.

I mainly want to get her something that’ll help her track her sleep, heart rate, VO2Max, calories, steps, etc. So a watch that’ll focus mainly on health monitoring.

I have a Garmin, so she wants a Garmin lol. Budget is 200 or less. I was thinking the Vivoactive 5 but I’m not super familiar with all the Garmin watches so I was hoping to get some advice.

Hello, everyone. I just ran my first marathon on Sunday. I came home yesterday and stepped on the scale this morning. I’ve gained 11 lbs.

I know all kinds of things are happening with my body, so I’m not super freaking out. But has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for things to go back to normal?

For reference, I did a 3 day carb load and since running I haven’t had much of an appetite, but have been eating clean and healthy. I’ve been drinking tons of water, too.
