Game Title: Antipodica

Platform: PC (Web) — plays in any browser, no install
Description: Antipodica is a 2D survival game about drilling 12,742 km straight through the Earth — from your real-world starting location, down through the crust, the mantle, and a 6,000°C molten core — to reach your antipode, the exact geographical opposite point on the planet.
The hook came from a simple realization: most people have wondered what's on the exact opposite side of the world from where they live, and most flat 2D maps lie about it (it's almost always ocean, but rarely the ocean people guess). We turned that question into a survival run.
Each descent is procedurally generated. You manage five ship systems simultaneously — Health, Hull Integrity, Temperature Control, Drill Sharpness, and Vision range. Mining yields ore (iron, diamond, coal) and pods (oxygen, water) which you can convert through the ship's "Re-Surge Converter" into mid-descent repairs. The deeper you go, the more aggressive the layers get: gas traps disguised as ordinary stone, fool's gold traps disguised as real ore, spiderweb snares that drain your hull. Average run: 5–10 minutes.
It's a prototype (v0.1). The mechanics are in, the balance is being found in real time. Looking for honest feedback on whether the difficulty curve feels fair, whether the trap tells are spottable, and whether the antipode reveal lands as a moment.
