Went off of Zoloft two weeks ago
I had a nervous breakdown the beginning of December 2025. I was put on Zoloft… a super low dose—25mg. The first 8 weeks were horrible. Had all of the side effects and barely slept. Kicked in after 8 weeks and was very helpful (though I still had the shits all the time). Anyhow, I changed shrinks and was diagnosed with ADHD as the root cause of the anxiety. So I went on ADHD meds and felt sooo much better. I weaned off of Sertraline (Zoloft) and have been off of it for two weeks. Didn’t have brain zaps or anything, but my body hurts like hell. And it’s been going on for two weeks straight. Everything feels inflamed and my joints hurt and I feel exhausted after any physical exertion. Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this? What was your experience? Thanks!
