[TOMT] Need help finding a lost toy/magazine from my childhood...
Hi everyone,
I’m from France, so some of the details I remember might be specific to French stores/magazines, but I’m hoping someone here can help me recover a childhood memory.
This goes back around 10 years, probably somewhere around 2015–2016. At the time, I bought a children’s magazine from a French toy store called “La Grande Récré.” It was the kind of magazine you’d find at kiosks/newsstands with a small toy included.
From what I remember, the theme was centered around zombies, with a goofy/cartoonish style that today reminds me a bit of Plants vs. Zombies, although I’m not sure it was actually related.
What really stuck with me wasn’t the magazine itself, but the toy that came with it. It was a small rubber figurine of a zombie fish, about the size of a large marble. It was mostly green, with purple details — especially around the eyes — and had a silly expression with big, noticeable eyes. I also vaguely remember there possibly being a hole underneath it so it could be attached to the end of a pencil, though I’m not completely sure about that part.
I’ve already done a lot of research, including with ChatGPT, but no luck so far...
If this sounds familiar to anyone, even vaguely, I’d really appreciate any leads. Thanks in advance!
