What changed the way you approach betting models the most?
For people building betting models or automated systems what ended up improving your process the most over time.
I can say the biggest shift has been realizing how misleading untested assumptions can be. strategies that seem obvious sometimes completely fail once you run them through enough historical matches.
I'm curious what tools workflows or habits helped other people here avoid wasting time on weak models before running them live?
