Based on interviews with the band members before the album dropped, I knew APWD would take a little time to hit home with me, given the amount of deviation from the sound they've pretty much mastered through iterating on the P albums.

But I have to say, I didn't think it would happen this quickly. It only took me three full listens to get from "this is pretty good" to "damn, what an album."
