I'm not allowed to sit on the couch or eat. Or sleep.

My 14 month old has learnt to pull to stand and cruise, so he is always up at the couch when I'm sitting there and whines for me to pick him up, only to want to go back down straight away. I think he wants me to walk him around so I am trying to do it more during the day.

And now if I have any food that isn't for him he sits there begging like a puppy. I know all of these behaviours are probably normal but damn they are annoying! If I sit down with a coffee he just begs and wants my coffee! I miss being able to just sit down for five or ten minutes without him whining at me.

Were other babies suddenly even more demanding when they were trying to walk? I know he just wants to practice but yeah, it's hard some times.

Plus the sleep omg his sleep has gone to shit. It isn't usually amazing but this is next level. Is it yet another rnormal thing when learning to walk? I hope so because then it will end eventually.

How do you find the time to do creative hobbies with a toddler around?

My only child is 13 months old. Before I had him I did loads of different creative activities at home and a lot of time to do them.

Now I feel it's almost impossible outside of his nap time to do anything like that. I can barely get dressed or go to the toilet without him following me and demanding my attention.

Do thy get to a certain age where it became easier to go into the other room and do things? I do crochet which I can do anywhere but I also do scrap booking, drawing and sewing which I have to be in another room usually.

Feeling quite flat and defeated because that part of my life is not what I'd like it to be and my child has been very demanding lately. Just learning to walk recently, so I think he is being a little extra.
