Watching The Breakfast Club tonight. When I started 17 years ago we had after school detention and Saturday detentions. Both don’t exist anymore. They get “lunch detentions” in a room with other kids who have the same punishment and they just play on their phones. Zero inconvenience since they have to be there anyway.

The studies against detention are wrong. Bring back and enforce detentions.
