Question for parents from someone who isn't one. When the weather is nice we get a lot of kids on the estate out playing in the street. Nothing crazy or anti-social, just lots of shouting and screaming and thumping basketballs. All good fun, I'm sure. There's a Facebook group where one parent will inevitably post about how lovely it is to hear children playing outside, and other parents will enthusiastically agree in the replies. My question is, do y'all genuinely believe that or is it just something you say? Do you think your neighbours enjoy a backdrop of kid noise while trying to relax, or are you just glad they aren't making noise in the house for a change? No shade either way, I'm genuinely curious!
