US Visa Renewal thru Dropbox Timeline May 2026
For those asking about Dropbox US Visa Renewal this is my timeline. My visa expired last October 2025.
May 07 Thursday Filled out the DS- 160 form here https://ceac.state.gov. Do this first. You will need your confirmation number at the US Visa Scheduling website afterwards. Have all pertinent data, including last 5 travels to the US, if any, an approximation of when you would like to travel and where you would be staying ( even if you are not travelling yet fill it in ) and names and addresses of immediate family and contact person in the US.
After submitting your filled out DS 160 form , you will receive an email Confirmation from CEAC.
Make an account at usvisascheduling.com. This is where it gets tricky. This website is notoriously glitchy and it may take you hours or even days to finish ( when the site is down) which it mostly is. This is also where you will be transferred to their payment site and returned once again to finish. The site also determines if you are eligible for Dropbox Renewal. If you are eligible a questionnaire asking how you would like to submit your current passport and or passport with your previous visa, CEAC Confirmation , Interview Waiver Confirmation and 2 2x2 photos will appear. Choose between Submission at Parqual Mall, pickup at 2Go premium location near you, or 2 go premium delivery. I chose 2Go Premium Delivery.
You will receive an email with your Interview Waiver Confirmation.
May 08 Friday i followed this link https://vfs.gtspremium.com/#/ to pay my 750 pesos courier fee. Print your emailed receipt.
Submitted my documents to the 2 Go Premium location on Friday afternoon. Just include the documents they are asking for ( passports, CEAC Confirmation, Interview Waiver Confirmation, and 2 photos) Bring your printed proof of payment and a brown envelope for putting your documents in. You will get your receipt from 2 go with a tracking number.
May 11 Monday US Visa Center at Parqual Mall received my documents.
May 12 Tuesday before 11 am . My status changed to Application Received at the ceac.state.gov website.
Before 4 pm my status changed to Approved
May 14 Thursday around noon My status changed to ISSUED
May 16 Saturday 2 go delivered my passports on Saturday morning. Courier collected another 750 pesos from me. For reference I live in Calabarzon
