Can an RTX 20-series handle these modern AAA games, or do I need to aim higher? (Looking for laptop advice)
Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a gaming laptop for daily use, which will include web browsing, coding, graphic design, and—most importantly—heavy gaming.
I am currently trying to understand what modern AAA games an RTX 20-series mobile graphics card can actually run. I want a smooth experience and don't want my games stuttering or lagging.
Here is the exact list of games I currently play or plan to play very soon:
Alan Wake 2
Cyberpunk 2077
Star Wars Outlaws
Assassin's Creed Shadows & Valhalla
Spider-Man 2
Hogwarts Legacy
Resident Evil games
Pragmata & The New Red Flag Resynced
Death Stranding 1 & 2
Subnautica 2
Mafia: The Old Country
GTA V & FiveM
Marvel Rivals
Fortnite
Star Wars: The Old Republic
Given this specific list, will an RTX 20-series laptop card cut it, or is it too weak? What graphics card tier (e.g., RTX 3060, RTX 4050, RTX 4060) should I realistically be looking at to run these heavy titles smoothly for the future?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
