Demo now or demo later

I'm having trouble deciding if my singleplayer game is ready to demo. There's more than enough there to show (~30 minute demo) but the build is missing polish and the UI is buggy with 2 weeks before the Next Fest deadline.

Am I better off pulling out now and saving it for the fall, or getting it in people's hands to get feedback and risk turning some off completely?

Anyone have any experience with putting out buggy demos?

Edit: Thanks for the thoughtful responses. Looks like holding off until the demo's more polished, then updating the demo for the following Next Fest like GamesByChris suggested is my best option. I'm still giving myself the weekend before I commit, but I think my mind's made up.

Finally finished the trailer and published the Steam page for my go-karting RPG. I really thought I'd be done this one in a few months but here we are several years later...

It definitely wouldn't have been possible to get this far without the community here, on Bluesky and the forums. Thank you and thanks be to Godot!
