My father passed away about 10 years ago, owing back taxes and child support, so I've been told. One year ago my grandmother (his mother), passed away. Her trust states in the event of my father passing, his inheritance will pass down to his children - my question is, should I be worried his back taxes and child support owed will come out of that? I was going to consult a lawyer to be sure, but figured I'd ask the question here to see if anyone has had an experience with that.
